Ganjar Pranowo Inaugurates Trans Jateng Corridor VII

Tak Berkategori, SemarangCentral Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo today inaugurated Trans Jateng Corridor VII serving the route of Solo-Sukoharjo-Wonogiri. During the first week of operation, the bus service is free for the public.

Trans Jateng Solo-Sukoharjo-Wonogiri added six corridors that have been operating. “At the end of my term, we launched the last one to complete the entire program,” Ganjar said on Tuesday, August 8, 2023.

A total of 15 fleets are prepared to serve the route. In detail, 12 fleets for general passengers, 2 disabled-friendly fleets, and 1 reserve fleet.

The operating hours start from 05:00 to 19:00. The starting point of the route is Tirtonadi Terminal in Solo City and ends at the Type C Terminal in Wonogiri Regency.

Similar to other corridors, the bus fare is set at Rp2,000 for students, workers, and veterans, and Rp4,000 for general passengers per trip.

Corridor VII is also integrated with Trans Jateng Solo-Sumberlawang. The meeting point of the two corridors is at the Tirtonadi Terminal. “Hopefully this corridor will continue to run and be integrated with existing services in the area. For example, transportation means serving people to villages,” Ganjar Pranowo pinned hope.

The Trans Jateng corridors that have been operating thus far are Semarang-Bawen, Purwokerto-Purbalingga, Semarang-Kendal, Magelang-Purworejo, Solo-Sragen, and Semarang-Grobogan.
